Richard Müller is research assistant at the Chair of Software Engineneering of the Information Systems Institute at Leipzig University.
His research covers the areas of Empirical Software Engineering, Software Analytics, Mining Software Repositories, Software Visualization (2D, 3D, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality), Graph Databases, Software Quality, and Usability Engineering. Since 2015, he is head of the research group Visual Software Analytics.
As part of his teaching he gives the lecture Requirements Engineering and Software Ergonomics as well as the seminar Software Visualization. In addition, he contributes to the lecture Generative Software Development and to the Software Engineering Colloquium.
